The people inside cheer and the energy washes across the room like a wave, splashing across the floor, through the wall. I let it rush through me. For a moment I can feel the burn of whiskey in my throat, and a lightheadedness that wasn't there before.</p> <p>You're already drunk, apparently, and as you motion the barkeep for another I see you're not stopping anytime soon.
